Status: no GTA VI cheat-code inputs have been confirmed by Rockstar in the official sources linked here. The game is scheduled for November 19, 2026, so a launch-day input list would be premature. We do not publish made-up button sequences or reuse codes from older games as if they were confirmed for this one.
What this page will cover
After release, this section will focus on confirmed single-player cheats, secrets, and controller inputs. Every entry will identify the supported platform, exact input sequence, activation result, and any known restrictions. Where the game offers more than one control scheme, instructions will name the scheme used to verify the sequence.
How a code earns a listing
We will check the input in a single-player save, repeat it to confirm the result, and note any effects on achievements or progress if the game explains them. We will cite the evidence and mark unverified reports as unconfirmed rather than presenting them as instructions.
Before trying a code
Save your progress first and read the game's own warning if it displays one. If an in-game effect changes a save or disables an achievement, the guide should say so before the instructions. This page will be updated after release when reliable confirmation is available.
For official launch information, see Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto VI page. For current facts across the site, use the pre-release source guide.
Why the page is short on inputs today
A cheat list is useful only if a player can actually reproduce the listed result. Before the game is available, there is no released copy in which to test a controller sequence, observe the game's response, or confirm the effect on a save. A rumor repeated in several places is still not the same as a verified input.
We also keep older series entries separate. A code from a previous Grand Theft Auto game can make a search result look plausible, but it is not evidence that the same code will work in Grand Theft Auto VI. This page is about the new game and will only use instructions verified for that game.
What a useful entry will include
Every published code should answer the questions a player has before they try it:
- Where it works: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or another platform if one is later announced.
- How to enter it: a tested button sequence or in-game phone input, with the active control layout identified.
- What happens: the exact effect visible in a repeatable test, without promising unrelated benefits.
- What to know first: the game's own messages about achievements, saving, or mission restrictions.
- How we confirmed it: a direct source or a repeatable single-player check and the date tested.
If a code works only at a particular point in a mission or only with a specific control scheme, that condition belongs beside the steps. A useful guide should not make players search another page to find an important warning after they've already entered the sequence.
Secrets, discoveries, and controller inputs
Not every secret is a button code. A location clue, collectible, or environmental puzzle may need a map, prerequisites, or an explanation of how the discovery was reproduced. We will keep those as separate guide entries so readers can distinguish a hidden-world discovery from a cheat input.
The single-player scope also matters: our coverage will focus on the campaign and story-side discovery. We will not publish instructions that claim to affect other people's sessions or an online economy. Until the game ships, this page will remain a clear status report rather than a list of guesses.
Reader submissions
If you find a code after launch, send the platform, full input, exact observed result, and how you repeated it through the contact page. Do not include account credentials or save files. We will check the report before adding it to the public list, and an unconfirmed submission will not be displayed as a working instruction.
Read it at the source.
